Under the cooperation of Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies Sumy State University with the Regional Office of Water Resources (ROWR) in the Sumy region, currently represents a branch of our department, carried out laboratory analysis of the physical and chemical composition of experimental samples on the research topics of our department with the involvement of graduate students and students of specialities 101 "Ecology" and 183 "Environmental Protection Technologies" to train standard analytical methods of analysis skills.

Since November 2021, Viktoria Chubur, a graduate student of our department, and students Danilov Dmitry (TCM-11) and Alexey Belous (TC-81), learned the methods of chemical analysis of water. The participants got familiar with the methods of measuring mass concentration of chlorides, nitrate ions, chemical oxygen demand and sulphates, following the requirements of analytical and normative documentation for specific indicators of water quality. In addition, the students received practical skills in performing measurements of mass concentration of chlorides. Water samples from researchers of the research group of our department "Experiment in ecology and technologies of environmental protection" were analysed. 

Cooperation with the water agency is very important for our students to become aware of the organisation of state water quality control in the Sumy region and the laboratory's practical work.
