October 24, 2023 Associate Professor of the department, Dr. of Engineering Sciences, Associate Professor Iryna Ablieieva, at the invitation of her colleague Alex Enrich Prast from the Linköping University, Sweden, participated in a webinar lecture for students of higher education studying at this university under various programs, including exchange programs for foreign students. The seminar was part of the course "Sustainable Development in the Global Perspective", which focuses on major global impacts and the Agenda 2030.

Iryna Ablieieva made a report on "The war in Ukraine and SDG: national and global scale", paying special attention to the impact of the war on life in Ukraine as a whole, the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) both at the state and international level, the impact on the SDGs, aimed at environmental protection, climate change prevention and the introduction of renewable energy sources, in particular the development bioenergy projects. Students prepared a number of questions for the seminar, and colleagues from Brazil and Kenya actively participated in lively discussions, which demonstrated their concern about military actions in Ukraine, in particular, in terms of achieving the SDGs, rebuilding the Ukrainian economy, and hunger in African countries.
