Virtual mobility from the Czech University of Life Sciences

This Monday, November 23, the webinar "Environmental Responsibility and Adaptation on Climate Change" in the framework of the Czech virtual mobility project gathered more than 60 participants from different universities.

Teachers and graduate students of the Department of Ecology and Environmental protection Technologies took an active part in the webinar hosted by Ms. Jana Půlpánová, Head of the Czech Ecologist Agency Envirostyl & JAPŮ. Ms. Yana shared her experience as an entrepreneur, public activist and volunteer working in the field of environmental protection, "green" technologies and climate change.

During the 4 hours of the webinar, the participants discussed the causes and consequences of climate change for ecosystems, identified an action plan to mitigate them at the individual level, in daily activities, the role of the public, scientists and businesses in this work. It was interesting to spread the experience of combating climate change in the Czech Republic and Western Australia, where Ms. Jan currently works. Virtual mobility took place within the project "Interuniversity Cooperation as a Tool for Improving the Quality of Selected Universities of Ukraine", implemented jointly with the Czech University of Natural Sciences (coordinator Oksana Zamora)
