The Applied Ecology Department scientists took a part in negotiation process dedicated with the  trees cutting nearby the Chekhovs Lake.

Ecologists are terrified with the cutting high rate. According to Segey Shevchenkos words, extra level of cutting trees would cause an ecological disaster. The territory round the lake is the bioplato, and it filters water comes to the lake. The authorities do not consult with the environmentalists and scientists; instead the builders are doing whatever they want.

Dmitriy Laznenko agreed with this statement and added, that city had enough enormous ecological problems, and someone could be solved with tiny financial sources (e.g. city services make their duties well), another one require titanic economical supply (e.g. Wastewater Treatment Plant)
