The Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Technologies continues to actively develop international relations with foreign scientific institutions. Within the framework of cooperation with the Poznan University of Life Sciences (Poland), Dr.  Roman Vaskin, the head of the Laboratory of Biogas Technologies paid a working visit to the Laboratory of Ecotechnologies of this university.

During the visit, he held meetings with the Head of the Laboratory, Prof. Jacek Dach, and the Dean of the Faculty of Environmental and Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Klaudia Borowiak. They discussed directions of further scientific and educational cooperation, joint application for participation in Erasmus+ and other EU gant programs.

As part of the visit, Dr. Roman Vaskin trained on conducting biogas research and started a series of experiments on the productivity of biogas from plant wastes. The first series of study will be carried out using differet types of sunflower. Futher,, it is planned to study corn, rapeseed and soybean waste.
